海鮮居酒屋魚八築地店
Near Tsukiji Station, 魚八築地店 serves seafood dishes such as sashimi and miso-grilled squid with its innards, alongside a varied sake selection, lunch sets and seafood bowls.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
A short walk from Tsukiji Station, in the direction of St Luke’s International Hospital, 魚八築地店 is a seafood izakaya built around fish dishes to accompany drinks and a well-stocked drinks list. The evening menu ranges from seafood such as tuna chunks, tataki and scallop sashimi to fragrant grilled dishes, including miso-grilled squid with its innards and salmon chan-chan-yaki. There are also plenty of smaller plates for lingering over a drink, including katsuo shuto cream cheese and seared mentaiko.
The sake selection includes names such as Isojiman, Tenbi and Banshu Ikkon. Diners can also enjoy sake recommendations chosen to suit the food, or leave the choice to the manager. The drinks list also includes draft Sapporo Black Label, bottled Akaboshi beer, shochu and highballs, making it well suited to a full evening of drinks or a get-together with a group.
To finish, options include fragrant, expertly fried rice, pressed mackerel sushi and a mini tuna bowl—substantial choices for a meal that calls for more than snacks. Lunch is lively, with affordable set meals such as a mixed-fry set combining horse mackerel, croquette and minced-meat cutlet, a salt-dried mackerel set, and seafood bowls.
